I grew up a moderately active person and my eating habits were not so badly off. However, in campus, I made some not-so-good decisions when it came to eating because guys in campus are always looking for quick fixes, and I was one of those guys. As a result, I gained a lot of weight, a couple of friends made fun of me once in a while because I was short so the weight was very conspicuous and this messed up with my confidence. During that season, I got a chance for a health screening and the doctor said everything looks good but you need to lose some weight and that was my wake up call. I honestly needed some change, I was getting tired so often, I was not sleeping well and my self-confidence was very affected. So I made a choice to change my life, started by running in the evenings and easy workouts here and there. But a year later, I couldn’t see any results. I was devastated. I was physically fit but my weight and body still looked the same and this is when I discovered how important nutrition is. So I now focused on my eating habits and in just 3 months, my body started changing, my clothes were fitting better and the number on the weighing scale as well. Over the years, have adapted to healthy eating habits and have learned ways I can enjoy a cake without feeling guilty nor adding the kilos back.
Exercise is very good for you but if your eating habits are not healthy then you are not doing yourself any good.

I began my journey on April 2020.. I had tried lots of weight loss exercises including diets and food plans but none of it ever worked until I joined Kesh fitness.. The plus size gals will tell you it’s harder to lose than to gain worse if it’s “genetic” we keep saying everybody in our family is big so it’s my fate and we can’t lose weight so I thought😜😜. It’s been a tough but great journey. 3 months and I am 11kgs down, a few waistline inches lost…….Yeeeiiii💪💪💃💃 I never thought anyone could do 1k Jump ropes hehehe, I do 2k jump ropes now and it feels amazingly great. It’s been an amazing journey seeing body my transform, fitting in those clothes I couldn’t and having a slimmer face. Kesh fitness came at the right time.. Best trainer who individualises the training to suite your need and working towards your set targets. I am not there yet but I know am geared towards the right direction, working out and above all healthy eating.
